Adventism: “You have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.” Rev 3:1

July 20, 2017

Dear Fellow Believer,
The title above was addressed to the church of Sardis and it applied to Protestants before our time as they accepted a false name, but it could apply to Adventism now. An article suggesting the name of Jesus had Jesuit origin (“Society of Jesus”) brought almost no response from hundreds of pastors.
By contrast, the true name of the Savior should be an attractive fragrance: “Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.” Song of Songs: 1:3.
Names should not be translated; they should be transliterated to give the same sounds. George Bush wasn’t called ‘little shrub’ in Chinese when he visited there, but Bible names that began with a yod (first letter of God’s name and Christ’s name, Judah and Jerusalem ALL had their first letter replaced by J’s in spite of Hebrew and Greek not having a J letter or sound. Christ said, “Not one yod” should be removed, but translators removed the entire name of God—called the tetragrammaton and substituted LORD in all caps.
To preserve His identity, God had written His name into stone seven times and commanded no changes. Alberto Rivera, a converted Jesuit priest said Jesuits infiltrated the translation process for the King James Bible and now we have “LORD,” a generic title that anyone might accept, about 7,000 times where the God’s name was taken in vain (made empty) by those translators.
7,000–that’s how many hadn’t bowed to Baal in Elijah’s time, but they were silent witnesses who didn’t speak up and so it is with LORD—we just don’t get the idea of what God’s name is, though when we see LORD in all caps, we should know God had a name that was removed; shouldn’t this bother us?
We don’t worship a calf like Israel did in Elijah’s day, but we call God by the same title as they did because the translation of Baal is ‘lord.’ Can we see a problem? He said, “Call Me Ishi (husband), call Me no more Baali” Hos 2:16.
This appeal is timely because when we say, “The Bridegroom comes,” He will want to be known and loved by His name and as husband, NOT as LORD—would we want our spouse to call us Boss?
We want to know the truth. “Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you.” If we aren’t interested, we won’t be in the marriage that will come suddenly, like the cry at midnight, as the other two wedding parables also show.
Christ said before He comes, Elijah “shall first come and restore all things.” Matt 17:11. The 144,000 will restore His name–they will have His name in their foreheads—they are the ones from Malachi 3 who think “often upon His name.” Do we?
Adventists talk about the Sabbath being the seal of God, but currently we have an empty seal with no name, only LORD three times where God wrote His name. Will we “restore all things.” We should start with our attitude toward Truth—the One who is outside the church seeking entrance. Rev 3:20
Christ said, “I am come in My Father’s name and you receive Me not. If another shall come in His own name, him you will receive.” John 5:43. If the Father’s name was Zeus, then they say it right in Italy when they pronounce Christ’s name as Yea Zeus. In Latin America, they say Hey Zeus. We say Gee Zus.
But Zeus was the savior god of Greek mythology who saved everyone–no need of repentance! No wonder rock stars and many today praise that name. A lie will go around the world while truth is tying his shoes.
Adventism is at the crossroads, and the sign pointing the way has been changed. While preachers wrestle with women’s ordination and gender issues so we can be politically correct and not lose 501-c-3 or offend Babylon, we are clueless to the identity–the name of God. Thanks to Babylon, we have a generic title but if we don’t love the truth, we will receive a strong delusion and will be responsible for others doing so. 2Thess 2:10,11.
What does God want from us? His name is the first of seven topics that have a 7-fold emphasis as a mark of end-time truth that needs to be restored. It was replaced by LORD seven times in the 10 Commandments. The Bride of Christ, the 144,000 will do so. They are ‘virgins’ (Rev 14:4) and must be the wise virgins that get into the wedding, Matt 25.

We will marry Christ by a covenant like Israel did at Sinai. God later said, “I am married to you,” Jer 3:14. Paul said, ”All those things happened to them for examples…ends of the world.” 1Cor 10:1,11. But God got an ignorant bride. This must not happen to Christ, and there is a provision to prevent it as we will see later.
There’s a profound reason why God’s name is “all vowels” (Josephus) See if you can discern it about half-way down in this link,
If you have questions related to any of this, please give me a call, I enjoy serious discussion, 8-8 PT, 928 583 7534, or email if you don’t get through and I can call back if you include your number.
May God bless and guide you, to the intent that we are ready so that “He will make [us] ruler over all that He has.” Lk 12:44=144K
