Sudden End-time Events

February 16, 2011

We don’t usually like things sudden. Like SUD means Sudden Unexpected Death, the connotation is usually not good. But end-time topics in the Bible have imagery of suddenness. Here are a few of those imageries to consider…

Luke 17:37  And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
There is also reference to Eagles in Revelation.
Revelation 4:7  And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
Which is belived to be the United States. If it is the United States, and Fema with the United Nations. Erecting and converting Military bases here in the United States into Concentration camps. Is it not possible that, this is what Luke was talking about?

Michael, I have to hand it to you–you could be right about that. Often Scripture is written in a way that it can have more than one valid meaning, and yes, if some of what we learn about the FEMA camps is true, the Savior was trying to save us in His comment which got edited out of Matthew’s version.

Another group has put up a billboard in Oakland and are debating Camping on their website…

Does anyone know anything about them?

      Hi Andrew,

Though Camping has a very wrong chronology dating the Creation as 11,013 BC and the Flood as 4990 BC, I think his date tomorrow will be a type of judgment day because FEMA is planning a drill to “simulate the catastrophic nature of a major earthquake” that might just occur on May 21. But I can guarantee no rapture based on info at http://Rapture4.netfirms.com which has some concise reasons that Christians should know…

i just wanted to tell u guys that all the natural calamities happening around the world are not random occurences but are happening because our Lord Jesus Christ has come again on this earth in flesh with his new name Emmanuel….we now wait for His glorious manifestation and the final tribulations and judgement….www.emperoremmanuelchurch.org

Sorry Joshua, “every eye shall see Him,” Rev 1:7, but we expect many false Christs as Matthew 24 shows.

Sorry, but I’m quite sure that anyone coming “in the flesh” as Christ or Emmanuel, is false as suggested by Matthew 24:5, and since your post was a year ago (and I’ve been away, sorry) maybe you have discovered a hoax by now. The next coming is Matt 25:6, as Bridegroom, and involves calamity like fell on the Egyptians when God took Israel to a covenant relationship at Sinai and later said, “I am married to you,” Jer 3:14. We can do that too, because Paul said “All those things happened to them for examples…ends of the world.” 1 Cor 10:11.

@thebridegroomcomes……its been another year now…..and my faith and conviction that Jesus Christ is back only grows stronger…….because its not some random claim but based on scripture…..the problem, you see, is that Christians today are waiting for a Christ who is “coming on the clouds”……but in truth His Second Coming and His Appearance/Manifestation are two altogether different events……
Open your mind for a moment and examine the Scripture verse Matt 24:5
        It Says:
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray.
Now if as you say His Second Coming is “on the clouds” and “every eye shall see Him,” ; then why the confusion about His coming? Why is there even a possibility of anyone being deceived by false messiahs?
