All of Scripture is “God-breathed” and it is all in harmony if we understand it right.
While Paul writes a few verses saying “the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night with sudden destruction when they are saying ‘Peace and safety,” Christ offers much more depth to that sudden event when a fig tree suddenly withered, the Flood came with sudden destruction, martial law could be suddenly implemented in a national calamity and under that regime, “one may be taken [taken to FEMA camps seen on You Tube] and the other left [if favorable to New World Order]. that’s when the evil servant [papacy behind New World Order] begins to smite fellow servants. “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like 10 virgins…”

Christ’s examples are hard to understand until you see what’s happening around us and surrounding us…

If we eat, drink, smoke and sex as we please, we form habits, appetites and passions that enslave us. Obedience to physical laws may require self-control, but it brings health. Rethinking the Rapture; Left Behind is better!

The rapture is not clearly taught in the Bible and because of this, it’s easy to jump to a mistaken conclusion. For example, Christ says that “when He comes and knocks,” we should “open to Him immediately.” Luke 12:36. If you have been taught to believe in a rapture, it may be easy to think that’s what Christ means here. But several points don’t fit rapture teaching. Why would Christ say, “Have your loins girded, have your lights burning” if He were going to rapture us, even from sleep? We don’t need to sleep with our clothes or lights on. This is about something else.

1. When Christ said, “One shall be taken, and the other left” (Matthew 24:39-40), He wasn’t talking about a rapture. Luke gives more details. The disciples asked, “Where, Lord? And He said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, there will the eagles be gathered.” (Luke 17:37). With this additional information, it suggests that those who are taken are not raptured to heaven; they become the dinner for vultures. “One shall be taken and the other left” should not be understood as a rapture.

Christian Expectations Don’t Fit Christ’s Prophecy in Matthew 24

A broader view of end-time events could spare us from being unprepared

After building to the climax of His 2^nd coming with power and glory in the middle of the chapter, Christ then gives warns of one or more events that could find us not ready.

First He said to learn a parable of the fig-tree. In Matthew 19, He cursed a fig tree with much foliage but no fruit. It represented the Jewish nation then, looking good outwardly, but lacking fruits of righteousness. In Matthew 24, Christ was projecting this into the end-time. Could America be like that, looking good, but sadly lacking? The fig tree suddenly withered; could it happen to US when God can no longer bless the things He has cursed?
Next Christ warned, “as it was in the days of Noah.” Could there be world-wide destruction? Paul also warned of “sudden destruction” when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety,” 1 Thessalonians 5:2,3. We hear it today and with the New Madrid or California’s over-due for “the Big One,” who’s to say it couldn’t happen?
Then two are together but one is taken. Some Christians think this means they will be spared tribulation by a rapture (“one is taken”) but when the disciples asked “where,” Christ implied that person becomes food for vultures in Luke 17.
Matthew 24 ends with the evil servant beginning to smite fellow servants. This occurred under Old World Order when the evil servant persecuted protestants. Revelation 13 suggests a similar picture under New World Order in which global government boycotts those who won’t comply with the inability to buy or sell with a number.

How do these events fit? All of the above could come into focus as a result of an apocalyptic earthquake that included destruction on both the New Madrid and San Andreas Faults.

Declaration of martial law (as in New Orleans) could get Christians who do not favor New World Order, and others such as gun-rights activists and anti-abortion protesters an opportunity for further screening at a FEMA detention center. Those groups fit the picture of potential “domestic terrorists” listed in Homeland Security documents and protested by Michele Bachmann.

After Hurricane Katrina, those in New Orleans who didn’t evacuate were detained, screened and many were relocated, but this could never happen on a national scale. Or could it? If you Google FEMA camps, you may be shocked to discover more than 700 in the US. One source says FEMA is the Trojan horse for New World Order.

Palestinian Statehood Marks End of Bible’s Longest Time Prophecy

Washington DC, (Sept 23, 2011) Abbas’ appeal for UN Palestinian statehood is meaningful for Christians, Jews and Messianic believers who see it as marking the end of Israel’s exile and a prophetic return to the Promised Land, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author, speaker for Exodus2, a nonprofit organization.

Israel’s 390 years of apostasy (Ezekiel 4:5) and the promise of 7-fold punishment if they walked contrary (Leviticus 26:18), make 2730 years that began with the Assyrian Captivity in 720 BC (Google). bringing us to 2010, but there was no year “0,” the period ends in 2011, says Ruhling.

Seventh-day Adventists should be interested because their prophetess’ last book title was “The Captivity and Restoration of Israel” by Ellen White. But theological controversy in the church meant non-acceptance of her title so it was changed after her death to “Prophets and Kings” in 1917, thus effacing her message.

White took her title from the Bible: “Lo the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people, Israel and Judah, and cause them to return to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it…in the latter days ye shall consider it.” Jeremiah 30:3,24.

This is the context for the New Covenant Promise. Millions of Christians claim that God will give them a new heart, but they haven’t noticed the end-time context to qualify, says Ruhling.

“He that scattered Israel will gather him and keep him as a shepherd does his
flock…your children will come again to their own border.” Jeremiah 31:1,10,17,31-33.

On the verge of global government and a New World Order, this could have huge significance, but who would believe it?

2011/2012 Initiates End-Time?

The longest time-prophecy in the Bible points to 2011/2012 as the beginning of end-times. But before we look at how this is so, our interest should be aroused by knowing that the Mayan Calendar ends in 2012, and the Gregorian Calendar that we use will be 430 years old in 2012.

430 years of a pope’s calendar reminds us that Israel was under an Egyptian calendar for 430 years when the Exodus occurred, Exodus 12:41. Will we see another Exodus? Biblical information suggests an Exodus for 2012. Here’s how…

God promised to bless Israel in their land if they obeyed Him, but said they would be scattered among the nations if they went against His teachings in the book of Deuteronomy.

God told Ezekiel to lie on his side for 390 days, each day for a year that Israel was in apostasy. Ezekiel 4:5. But we forget that God said He would punish them “seven-times more” if they didn’t learn (Leviticus 26:21,24) They continued to walk contrary to Him and went into captivity . 7 x 390 years is 2730 years.

We know the history of how the 10 northern tribes were taken captive to Damascus by the Assyrians. You can Google Assyrian Captivity, 720 BC and find it as a starting point. Subtracting 720 years from 2730, we come to 2010, but there was no year “0,” so it ends in 2011.

Historically, when the Persian king, Artaxerxes, released Israelites in 457 BC, it was in the fall, but they didn’t leave till the following spring. This model may support similar timing for us with something coming soon and an opportunity for return to Israel for God’s people, spiritual Israel.

Who is Israel? The Bible says, “If you are Christ’s, you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise,” Galatians 3:29. We don’t need blood lines; this is a spiritual thing. Those who honor the Bible and return to the Promised Land after the end of the prophetic time period will be spared huge trouble when New World Order is set up and “no man can buy or sell” without the mark of false worship, Revelation 13:15-17.

The End-Time Is Here

2008 was God’s last warning. 2011 is global economic collapse. www.the-end.com (This was a Google ad in LA Times, opposite a headline, “Science and religion: God didn’t make man; man made gods.” )

The ad is much closer to the truth than the scientists! The warning from 2008 came in the context of October 1 when the US Senate met to approve $760 billion in bailout funds and the stock market crashed daily for 10 days. But that was Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:24) when anciently they blew a ram’s horn for 10 days till the Day of Atonement. America needed a day of financial atonement and this year, maybe the world does?

In the Bible this imagery is supported by the first trumpet when “all green grass was burnt up,” Revelation 8:7. But grass represents riches, because “as the flower of the grass, so shall the rich man fade,” James 1:9-11, KJV. Awesome times and so sad that some scientists don’t get it yet…

A Fresh Look at Matthew 24

“The end will come when you see the abomination of desolation.” Mark 13:14 adds “standing where it ought not.” Early believers understood Christ’s reference to Rome and fled Jerusalem in 66 AD. Fleeing saved them from Titus’ siege. 2000 years have passed, and in a first-time visit by a pope, John Paul stood where he ought not….

Since then, Jerusalem has been a focus of conflict and tragedy. We shrug off their difficulties as if we have a different destiny. But Jews are keeping the covenant in which God gave that land to Abraham for his seed. We fail to see it as pertaining to us, but “If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise [of land.] Gal 3:29. That promise of land becomes relevant when no one can buy or sell without the mark of false worship, Rev 13:15-17.

Christ’s words imply several levels of readiness. If they didn’t flee, they were to be so ready, that if they were on the housetop and saw [Rome], they were not to go into their houses to get their things. A Presbyterian pastor I know kept his backpack in his car loaded, and though premature, he may prove ready. Unless we understand this better many Christians may fail to respond when, in the face of a huge calamity, martial law ends our freedom with detention centers, interrogation screenings etc.

Christ’s next example was “as the days of Noah” when millions died. Then came His example of two in a bed, one taken and the other left (same in a field). This could happen in martial law with red/blue lists for New World Order non-compliants. Daniel 1-6 has life/death issues we don’t see coming. Those behind NWO could be the evil servant that says, my lord delays his coming and he begins to smite his follow servants, Matt 24:48,49…

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like 10 virgins” when some had extra oil. Oil comes from the two olive trees in Zechariah 4, representing the Old and New Testaments. Most Christians today lack oil from the Old Testament. Ask them if we can marry the Bridegroom and they don’t know. But Israel did in the covenant they made at Sinai; God said, “I am married to you,” Jer 3:14. They came out of calamity in Egypt to do so, and Paul says, “All those things happened unto them for examples [types]…ends of the world.” 1Cor 10:1,11.
